非衍射聚焦艾里超声束

Underwater non-diffracting focusing based on Airy beams

  • 摘要: 医学超声成像和治疗中, 生物体内组织、血管、骨骼等将导致波形畸变从而影响超声聚焦性能。为此探讨了非衍射超声聚焦束的生成方法, 通过设计基于艾里波束的超材料透镜, 实现了水下超声束的高效聚焦。通过仿真和实验测量, 证实了所设计超透镜的聚焦性能不受障碍物存在的影响, 为在经颅、经肋骨等场景下的超声成像和治疗提供了新方法。

     

    Abstract: In medical ultrasound imaging and therapy, internal tissues, blood vessels, bones, and other structures can cause severe waveform distortion, adversely affecting ultrasound focusing performance. This paper discusses the generation of non-diffracting ultrasonic focused beams. By designing a metalens based on Airy beam, the high-efficiency focusing of underwater ultrasonic beam is achieved. Through simulation and experimental measurements, the focusing performance of the designed metalens is confirmed to be unaffected by the presence of obstacles, offering new methods for ultrasound imaging and therapy in scenarios such as transcranial and intercostal applications.
