结合聚焦波束形成的V形阵远场目标左右舷分辨算法

A far-field target port/starboard discrimination algorithm for V-shaped array based on focused beamforming

  • 摘要: 针对V形阵上左右舷模糊的问题, 提出了一种结合聚焦波束成形的左右舷分辨算法。理论分析表明, 远场目标在几何对称的V形阵上镜像峰随着焦距变化而发生移动, 而目标峰随焦距变化几乎保持不变。基于这一规律, 通过设置阈值比较两个焦距上峰值角度变化幅度区分目标和镜像。仿真结果表明, 该算法对噪声和阵元位置误差具有较好的鲁棒性, 在所设定的仿真条件下, 算法适用于V形阵夹角小于170°且目标为非端射方向入射的情况。此外, 通过SWellEx-96实验数据验证了所提算法的性能。

     

    Abstract: To deal with the problem of port/starboard discrimination on the V-shaped array, a port/starboard discrimination algorithm based on focused beamforming is proposed. Given that the mirror shifts with variations in focal length while the target position almost remains constant, this algorithm distinguishes target from its mirrors by comparing angular variation amplitudes at two distinct focal lengths with a threshold. The simulations demonstrate the robustness of this algorithm against noise and array position error. Under the simulation conditions of this paper, the applicable conditions of the algorithm require that the angle of the V-shaped array be less than 170°, and the far-field target incidence direction should not be in the end-fire direction. Comparative analysis with other methods on data from the SWellEx-96 experiment confirms the performance of the proposed algorithm.
