声音的响度辨别阈与信号时程的关系

DIFFERENTIAL THRESHOLDS OF LOUDNESS IN RELATION TO SIGNAL DURATION

  • 摘要: 本工作用两种方法研究了声音的响度辨别阈(△I/I)与信号时程(t)的关系.用信号比较法测得的△I/I不受t的长短的影响,即△I/I=K.用拍感受法测得的结果却有所不同:当t短于极限时间T时,△I/It的平方根成反比,即△I/I=K'(T/t1/2;当t长于T时,△I/I趋于恒定,即△I/I=K';T约为150毫秒.用拍感受法测得的响度辨别阈与信号时程的关系,和以前测得的音调辨别阈与信号时程的关系十分相象.

     

    Abstract: Differential thresholds of loudness (△I/I) were determined on 5 subjects for different signal durations (t) by both the signal comparison method and the method of beat perception.△I/I obtained by the first method did not seem to change with the change of signal duration (△I/I=K), whereas △I/I obtained by the second method varied systematically: when t was shorter than some critical duration T, △I/I were inversely proportional to the square root of t, i.e. △I/I=K'(T/t)2/2; when t was longer than T, △I/I became constant, i.e. △I/I=K'. T was about 150 msec. The results were compared with the previous data dealing with the role of signal duration in pitch differentiation.
