声音信号的时程辨别阈与信号时程的关系

DIFFERENTIAL THRESHOLD OF SOUND SIGNAL DURATION IN RELATION TO SIGNAL DURATION

  • 摘要: 本工作用信号比较法测定了人的声音信号时程辨别阈(△t)及信号间距辨别阈(△ti),并分析了它和信号时程(t)及信号间距(ti)的关系.结果表明,当tti≥40毫秒左右时,△t/t或(△ti)/ti大体上保持恒定,平均约为7%;当t或ti<40毫秒左右时△t/t或(△ti)/ti则有逐渐随t或ti的缩短而增高的趋势.当标准信号及可变信号的强度或频率成分不相同时,所得的△t/t基本上和当两信号强度及频率成分完全相同时的△t/t差别不大.文中讨论了时程辨别及间距辨别的可能机制,并比较了信号时程这一因素在听觉系统对声音各种属性的分析与辨别中的不同作用.

     

    Abstract: Differential thresholds of sound signal duration (△t) and signal interval (△ti) on 5 subjects were determined at various values of signal duration (t) and interval (ti) in the range of 5-640 msec. The results were as follow: when t and ti were greater than 40 msec or so, △t/t and △ti/ti were nearly constant, being about 7 % on the average; when t and ti were less than 40 msec or so, △t/t and △ti/ti increased with the shortening of t and ti. Making the intensity or frequency components of the standard signal different from that of the variable signal did not seem to have any significant influence on the value of △t/t. On the basis of the obtained data the possible mechanisms of signal duration differentiation and signal interval differentiation, as well as the role of signal duration as a factor in different aspects of auditory analysis was discussed.
