Abstract: This paper treats the operating process and characteristics of SAW stoage correlator/convolver in transcient state. An appropriate circuit model has been worked out, which is in accordance with the physical process and facilitates the analysis of the device. Moreover, an in-depth treatment of write-in and read-out processes is presented. The analytical results had been checked by experiments.
