Abstract: This paper presents the directivity function of multielement sectoral cylinder array,analyses the complex phase factor and explaines in detail the rejection of sidelobes which is particularly useful to get dirctional tracking of acoustical signal and target location,by selecting numbers of elements baffling and amplitude weight.
