Abstract: The echo of soner target carries some characteristic imformation of the target.It is significat to extract those poles for autoidentification of somar target.In order to inquire into the relationship between the correct extraction of poles and related parameters,Prony's method is employed to extract poles from simulated echoes in this paper.Finally,the poles extracted from the measured echo of a sphere teaget are compared with theoretical valus.
