Abstract: Based on the discussion of the problems in the interpretation of Wigner distribution,we proposed that the time-frequency distribution was a fuzzy concept. Some concepts and methods in the fuzzy sets theory were introduced into the time-frequency analysis.A method for the reprocessing of Wigner distribution from the concept of fuzzy time -frequency point was given. Successful applications of the fuzzy point method can also be found in the paper.
