Investigation of limiting factors in the ultrasonic attenuation measurements by using the pulse through-transmission method

  • 摘要: 分析了采用水中脉冲透射插入取代法测量媒质声衰减系数时的主要影响因素,对脉冲宽度/样品厚度选择、单双样法适用性、水中声衰减和声束扩展影响的修正等给出了表述量值关系或界限的数学表述。
    Abstract: Validity of ultrasound attenuation measurements by using pulse through-transmission method is governed by some factors, such as pulse width, sample thickness, attenuation in water and beam spreading. This paper investigated these factors and provided mathematical expressions.
