Abstract

In this paper the results of an experiment concerning internal wave and sound fluctuation in shallow water are presented. A very sharp thermocline occurs in August in the shallow water region of the Yellow sea near China coast, the temperature difference Δt is about 10℃ and the thickness of transition layer is only a fewmeters.
