Abstract
A geometrical acoustical method is used to describe the scattered field by a soft-tube (simulating a blood vessel). Inverse scattering problem for the soft-tbe in the space domain and frequency domain is discussed. The scattered field is measured and the internal radius, external radius, velocity, densityand attenuation coefficient of the tube are reconstructed. The relative errors are less than 5%.
