Low frequency characteristic parameter measurement of vented-box loudspeaker system using Total Least Squares Method

  • The interrelationship between the ARMA model parameters of a vented-box loudspeaker system and low-frequency characteristic parameters is analysed in this paper.These ARMA model parameters are determined by the total least squares (TLS) method.Therefore,we can measure in the time-domain the low frequency characteristic parameters of a vented-box loudspeaker system,its impedance curve and low-frequency response curve.These measured results show a satisfaCtory agreement with the values obtained by the frequency domain measurement
