Nearfield acoustic holography based on intensity measurement and application in radiating analysis of underwater sound sources

  • Broadband acoustic holography based on intensity measurement (BAHIM) is a new and powerful field reconstruction technique. It allows one to predict the sound radiating field from a source and locate sound noise sources by measuring the near field sound intensity distribution on a measurement plane (hologram). In this paper, numerical analysis for different sources and parameters of the hologram at sample are given. Moreover,by the automated scanning two-hydrophones sound intensity measurement systems, the experiment is carried out and the BAHIM method is applied to sound field analysis of submerged spherical sound source. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of BAHIM.As a technique, the BAHIM can greatly enhance the ability for us to analyze and discern noise sources.
