GBSC model description of underwater acoustic channel and performance analysis of error correcting codes

  • The GBSC for modeling underWater acoustic channel to the results of experiments undertaken on underwater acoustic channel is presented in this paper. The block error probability distributions derived from the model are accordig to experiment data very well, indicating that the GBSC can model the channels well, and the GBSC model has the advantage of simplicity and facility. In this paper, the performances of several BCH codes with different lefferent length are analyzed.
