Abstract
Based on the harmonic and noise experiment, the model of the rolling bearing surface harmonic distribution is established, the harmonic distribution parameters of affecting the sound pressure level of the rolling bearing noise are investigated, and the harmonic control line equations of controlling noise are presented. The function of the optimum sound pressure level of the rolling bearing noise is established especially for applications to engineering. This function has intimate correlation with the harmonic distribution parameters. Based on optimizing the harmonic distribution parameters and noise, this function is obtained by mathematical statistics analysis and considerably reduces the prediction errors. The experimental research on the 6203 bearing and the 6201 bearing shows that the error of this function is very small, less than 2.2 dB. Because the harmonic distribution parameters can be controlled, it shall become reality that the noise of assembled rolling bearings can be controlled in the process of manufacturing.
