  • The influence of acoustic levitation on friction in air is studied, and the dynamic model of friction couple is set up. Based on this model the influence of acoustic levitation on friction reduction is calculated. The relative contacting time between friction couple in air and in vacuum have been measured experimentally, which shows that the influence of acoustic levitation can't be neglected when the preload between friction couple is small.
