A waveform design method for improving high speed underwater communication performance

  • A waveform design method that can restrain the multipath effect was proposed. It was achieved by placing signal on the second zero point of waveform filter and keeping the information rate. Emulate experiments and lake experiment obtained lower error code rate than traditional waveform design method using this waveform structure with multiple phase shift key modulation. The results of experiment shows that the waveform design method can improve underwater communication system performance, can restrain multipath effect of underwater channel, and can increase transmit distance and reliability of underwater communication system.
