Study on resonance performance of modified 1-3 piezo-compsites

The influence of piezoelectric phase volume fraction on resonance of modified 1-3(1-3-2)type piezoelectric composites which applied to the underwater acoustic transducer has been investigated.1-3-2 composite consists of 1-3 composite and ceramic bottom in series.Based on the linear piezoelectric theory and uniform field theory,the piezoelectric equations for this model were derived.The performance of two type composites with volume fraction of ceramic was analyzed and compared.1-3-2 composite samples were fabricated by dice-fill technology.The result showed that the calculation of the model was close to the resonance performance of samples.
