The detection problem of weak single frequency component in the background of strong noise is discussed Based on the theoretical analysis,a series of digital simulation are carried out to verify the theoretical conclusion including:the system gain,the robust performance of segment DFT analysis in the case of existence of frequency shifting.The selection principle of various parameters is discussed,including sampling duration,length of segment DFT frequency resolution etc.The effect of frequency shifting on the system performance is also illustrated
