Abstract

When the transducers were placed in a non-uniformity sound field, the fluctuation with time of the received signal may be caused by the swing of the transducers. The mean pressure, mean intensity, and the coefficient of variation of amplitude of the signal propagated in wave-guide were obtained in this paper. The change of coefficient of variation with range in a surface sound channel was calculated numerically.
