RAY TRACING FOR INFRASONIC WAVES GENERATED BY TYPHOON

The propagation problem of inf rasonic waves generated from typhoon has been treated by classical ray theory methods. Starting from the fundamental equations of hydrodynamics including the influences due to horizontal winds and gravitational force, the following set of three-dimensional ray equations in rectangular coordinates governing the infrasonic waves, the main frequency of which is 0.2 Hz approximately, is obtained under the assumption of horizontal stratification.
