STUDY ON THE NONLINEAR ACOUSTIC PARAMETERS IN HIGH ATTENUATION OF BIOLOGICAL MEDIA

Nonlinear acoustic parameter B/A of biological media such as heart,liver,spleen,kidney,muscle,fat,bile and urine had been measured.The nonlinear parameters of heart,liver,spleen,kidney and muscle are about 7,of bile and urine about 6,and that of fat is above 9.6.The large value of nonlinear parameter of fat is attributed to its high liqid content.Results of Ichida et al on fat are discussed.
