A study on multipurpose wideband ultrasonic test equipment and reconstruction of 3-D image

  • The THMUT-l Multipurpose Ultrasonic Test Equipment is developed, in which the direct digital imaging and programmable sample scanning are used. The operation frequency range is 5 105MHz. The A,b, c modes testing can be accomplished at the same time. The result is displayed on the screen of the computer terminal.In addition, a 3 D ultrasonic image is reconstructed and displayed by using Surface Reconstruction Algorithm. The technique has potential applications in industry and medecine.
