The influence of |ω| filter function on nonlinear parameter imaging using filtered convolution method

  • Acoustic nonlinearity parameter B/A is a new important parameter in ultrasonic tissue characterization. The computer simulation of nonlinearity paramcter B/A image for a simple liquid model can be obtained by using X-CT algorithm-fliered convolution method. In thes paper, four different|ω|filter functions, including RL, SL, Parabolic and Modi-SL, were used to reconstruct the B/A image. The influences of different filters on the quality of nonlinear parameter tomography have been compared and analyzed.
