Abstract
The flow-induced self-sustaining oscillation and standing wave resonance of protruding and trap cavities are studied at the low speed range.By experiment,the formulae of frequency of nuid dynamic oscillation of trap and protruding cavities at low speed are suggested.The frequency formulae of standing wave resonance are introduced as considering the radiation impedance,the calculated values are in agreement with experimental data.The coupling resonance of the two kinds of oscillations is also studied.According to the two formulae of the two oscillations the relation between the cylindrical cavity depth and the flow speed is derived when the coupling resonance is occurring.These relation of coupling resonance are verified by the experimental data.
