The characteristics of Panda's bark and the comparison with Dog's bark

  • The frequency spectra of Panda's and Dog's bark are respectively analyzed, Panda's voice spectrum within 0-4kHz consists of 8 Overlapped broad and long resonance bands with sharp edges. The fundamental frequency of Panda's voice is within 200-300 Hz, the second harmonic band of it is about 400 Ha, and the amplitude histogram of Panda's bark is similar to γ-distribution.
But in the voice spectrum of Dog's bark, the resonance bands are shorter and submerged in chaotic ripples, and there is a stronger noise of turbulent flow in Dog's barks.
The fundamental frequency of a Dog's bark is within 400-500 Hz, the second harmonic band of it is similar to Gauss distribution.
