Identification and location of acoustic imaging on high frequency weak noise sources with a microphone array

  • A kind of method of identification and location for high frequency weak noise sources with sensor array was founded.The contribution of the effective member sensors to the acoustic image has been improved based on the characteristic of high frequency sources' directivity and detection performance of microphone array with SNR weighting method, Acoustic image is developed more clearly by means of adding different weights to different sensors in signal processing according to SNR differences. Simulation of sensors with weight and no-weight to acoustic image sources has been analyzed respectively, Test of circuit noise of a certain type of notebook showed that the microphone array can position very weak sources (Sound Pressure Level (SPL) 10~20 dB) accurately when all effective member sensors are used to perform the sound image.
