This article presentes the conductive type of semiconductor SrTiO3 crystal determined by Hall coefficient measurement. The SrTiO3 crystals in our experiments were grown by top-seeding in slowly colded stoichiometric melt other than by Verneuil or flux method. The experimental results are interpreted in terms of the quasi-F centre model, The color centre is formed by oxygen vacancy during SrTiO3 crystal growth. The quasi-F centre defect was also confirmed by the X-ray photonelectronic spectroscopy.
