  • The ultrasound rapid tissue processing method was applied successfully to high-speed preparation of the pathological sections through the effect that the ultrasound can enhance the cell membrane permeability. The experimental results by comparing two types of liver tissue pathological sections, which were processed respectively with conventional processing method and the ultrasound processing method with 200 kHz, 400 kHz, 600 kHz, 800 kHz and 1000 kHz frequencies in the optimization frequency range, showed that the processing of liver tissue with the ultrasound processing method is accomplished in 1 hour, and that the processing times of the same liver samples with different ultrasound frequencies are different, the liver tissue processing times with 200 kHz and 800 kHz frequencies are shorter. A theoretical model was presented based on microbubble cavitation in the liquid environment, and the numerical simulations based on this model found that the optimal frequencies of the ultrasound rapid tissue processing are consistent with the experimental results.
